Registration Fundraising Raffle Guidelines
Each player who is registered and has paid the fundraising fee will be issued a booklet of raffle tickets to sell. All the money collected from the tickets will remain with the family as you have already paid for the booklet at registration time. If you do not want to sell the tickets to recover your costs, you are more than welcome to fill in the ticket stubs with your own personal information.
Please remember that due to BC Gaming regulations, minors are not to sell the tickets. They can accompany the adult who will handle all the transferring of cash between the seller and the buyer. If a winning raffle ticket bears the name of a minor, the prize will be awarded to the minor’s legal guardian.
ALL ticket booklets MUST be returned to your team manger by June 18th and in turn handed into the JDF Director of Gaming by June 20th, 2014 in order to be placed in the raffle draw barrel in time for the draw on June 22, 2014 at the Debbie Cooper Memorial Jamboree. You do not need to be present in order to win a prize.
