Congratulations goes out to the Peewee A1 team for their gold medal win at the Port Coquitlam Popstyle Tournament this weekend.
I wanted to invite the Juan de Fuca Lacrosse Association and its members to enter the Colwood Calendar Photo Contest.
We’re creating a 2020 calendar that will celebrate the beauty and energy of our Colwood community. Each month throughout 2019, we’ll put out the call for your best photos of a location in Colwood from that month.
The theme for MAY is SPORTS & RECREATION, so it’s right up your alley! We encourage people to submit photos showing sports like soccer, little league, football, lacrosse or rugby…scenes from one Colwood’s spectacular golf courses…people playing volleyball at West Shore Parks & Recreation or the Royal Beach Park…families cycling or hiking on the Galloping Goose trail or a local park.
You can also encourage people to vote for your photos online, so it’s a fun way to increase your exposure. The Mayor will select one feature photo for each month and the winning photographer will receive a gift card to a local Colwood eatery and a coveted Colwood mug.
Help show off all the recreation that Colwood has to offer!
